A mid-week defrost is the way to deal with tedium!!! Hell—yeah the MBTS team came dress-mart, sassy & armed for some bangin partyin at the much-talked about ZALORA Launch in the metro. So there we were- with our goodlookin posse and our kickass gear at the elevators that will take us to the one of the nocturnal watering holes: The SKYE LOUNGE in W Building @ Bonifacio High Street! After what seemed like aeons in the sweltering heat waiting for the ‘jammed’ elevs with tons of scenesters, we realized to our dismay that the party was for ‘everybody’—-hmmmm not too classy. As we sashayed in our stilettos inside the Lounge, we learned that the bar is ‘closed’ due to the bloating crowd. Whew, our collective expectation plateaued and then—-gulp—-plummeted and crashed into smithereens. We prowled hard and perspired harder… the dizzying churnout of black-clad creatures (yawn…boring!) busted the charts but the ‘sauced’ were as rare as free booze!!! Needless to say, we aren’t totally smitten with the whole shemozzle!
Zalora host Sarah Meier exudes voguish ooomph with the turban and peekaboo lace.No one worked the turban in the 60’s more than Elizabeth Taylor. Definitely, one black garb that we were smitten with that night! Inject some color into the whole shebang with dramatic maquillage and a sassy red pout!

Look adorable in a pastel dress with a black cutesy collar! Amp it up with a black belt, patterned stockings and chunky elevated footwear. Girrr, we totally love the cutesy bob, the subtle maquillage and that oh-so-delish red ribbon on your tummy!

Corner glam in a stunning draped skirt and match with a scrummy pink top! Rein in the color by snaggin some black accessories and footwear! Flaunt a gorgeous smile by keepin tresses in a pony!

Look sexy and oh-so-ready to party in a vibrant top and match with an eensy-weensy skirt with lacy detail! Sashay in mandatory elevated footwear and snag some bangin chunks and you’d be ownin the floor!

Notice the eyecatchin chunks around her neck? That’s OS Accessories—-extremely rad and totally wantable! Snag such chunks and you can afford to look chic in a sack…Nope not kidding hence, Ms Cutesy wore a casual pair and snagged a brown leather handbag!

The semi-unthinkable has happened! Glastonbury is heeee——-rreee! Well, almost. A coupla days ago beats-diggin denizens of the metro and its burgeoning foreign inhabitants went ballistic for the first-ever International Music Festival in the city!!! The powerhouse list of musicians led by Afrika Bambaataa, Alishaheed Muhammad and Shinichi Osawa and a host of other musicians blasted sinister and sweet tones from soul, hiphop, reggae and a whoop-ass-cool mishmash of rock! Local artists such as KJWAN, Lady, June Marieezy, Sinosikat, Wilabaliw, The Nameless heroes and Razorback also amped the volume!
Needless to say, the MBTS team came to defrost and sauced the young, the hip and the restless! Whew- it’s a whoop-ass dolce vita folks!
Exude Glastonbury chic in a bikini top matched with a sheer top and a pair of micro-mini shorts emblazoned with the awesome stars-and-stripes!! Bust the hot-meter by wearin a bangin hairpiece and vintage-looking peepers!
